Caglayan said business between Turkey and Syria is growing each day.
Trade volume between the two countries reached two billion U-S dollars last year.
On the issue of Turkey´s Ziraat Bank opening an office in Syria, with Syrian partners, Caglayan called the banking issue very important.
He noted the banking system is necessary for making commerce between the two countries easier, as well as for money transfers.
Caglayan said the issue of Ziraat Bank has been on the agenda for Turkey for some time.
Yesterday, the head of the Syrian-Turkish Businessmen´s Council, Abdul-Kadder Sabra spoke at a Council meeting organized by Turkey´s Foreign Economic Relations Board,
He said that Ziraat Bank might establish offices in Syria within six months.
